I learned to etch at Eli Levin's etching club.
It was held every Wednesday night at his home. Usually I brought a bottle of wine
which made it a lot of fun!
I went for quite a few years and walked away with about 30 copper plates.
My subject matter was usually the city of Santa fe or Anasazi designs.
I focused mostly on petroglyphs and sand painting figures.
I liked to watercolor them in by hand...
many times with bright colors...but I always left a few plain for customers that wanted a "classical piece."
